Description
Easy and delicious air fryer garlic parmesan chicken breasts, coated in savory seasonings and cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 0.4 lb/7 oz)
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (reserve 1 Tablespoon)
- 1 Tablespoon ranch seasoning
- 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise (full fat or light)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Pinch of salt and black pepper (to taste)
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or as needed)
Instructions
- Trim any unwanted fat from the chicken breasts. Pat them dry with a kitchen paper towel.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Mix the ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Reserve a teaspoon of this mix for later.
- Brush the smooth side of each chicken breast with mayonnaise. Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mix over the top, then follow with a generous layer of grated parmesan cheese, patting it in gently.
- Place the seasoned side down in the air fryer basket. Repeat the brushing and seasoning process on the other side.
- Cook in the air fryer at 365°F (185°C) for 8-9 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and sprinkle the reserved seasoning mix and parmesan cheese on top.
- Air fry for another 7-8 minutes at 375°F (190°C) or until the chicken is fully cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (73°C).
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
