Description

Easy and delicious air fryer garlic parmesan chicken breasts, coated in savory seasonings and cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 0.4 lb/7 oz)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (reserve 1 Tablespoon)
  • 1 Tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise (full fat or light)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or as needed)

Instructions

  1. Trim any unwanted fat from the chicken breasts. Pat them dry with a kitchen paper towel.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Mix the ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Reserve a teaspoon of this mix for later.
  4. Brush the smooth side of each chicken breast with mayonnaise. Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mix over the top, then follow with a generous layer of grated parmesan cheese, patting it in gently.
  5. Place the seasoned side down in the air fryer basket. Repeat the brushing and seasoning process on the other side.
  6. Cook in the air fryer at 365°F (185°C) for 8-9 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken and sprinkle the reserved seasoning mix and parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Air fry for another 7-8 minutes at 375°F (190°C) or until the chicken is fully cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (73°C).
  9. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Adjust cayenne pepper to suit your spice preference. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
