Description

Deliciously crispy chicken tenders coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, air-fried to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Start by making the honey garlic mixture. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside half of this mixture for later use as a drizzle.
  2. Next, coat each chicken tender in the honey garlic mixture. Ensure an even coat for maximum flavor. Once coated, roll the tenders in breadcrumbs, creating a crispy layer.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This step is crucial for getting that perfect crisp texture.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket.
  5. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked.
  6. Drizzle the reserved honey garlic sauce over the tenders once they finish cooking. Serve immediately.

Notes

For deeper flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the honey garlic mixture for a few hours or overnight.
