A quick and easy air fryer teriyaki chicken recipe that combines sweet and savory flavors for a delightful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or steamed veggies for serving
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with the teriyaki sauce and vegetable oil. Mix until the chicken is well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and starts to caramelize.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve over rice or veggies. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
