Description

A comforting and creamy white chicken chili combining tender shredded chicken with hearty white beans and zesty tomatoes.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cream or sour cream
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine shredded chicken, white beans, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. Stir in the cream or sour cream in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
