A comforting and creamy white chicken chili combining tender shredded chicken with hearty white beans and zesty tomatoes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cream or sour cream
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine shredded chicken, white beans, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in the cream or sour cream in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
