Description

A delightful combination of crispy bacon and tender chicken, wrapped and seasoned with a sweet brown sugar mixture for a perfect weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  4. Place the bacon-wrapped chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly over the chicken tenders.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the brown sugar mixture. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
