Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken breast in olive oil, then dip into the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, spoon marinara sauce over each piece, and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
