Description

Deliciously crispy chicken drumsticks, seasoned with paprika and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces skin-on chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or set up a wire rack.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the spice mix and stir until it forms a paste-like coating.
  4. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  5. Rub the spice mixture evenly over each drumstick.
  6. Arrange the drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet or wire rack.
  7. Bake for about 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skin is deeply golden and crisp.
  8. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and allow the drumsticks to rest for a few minutes before serving.
