Description

Delicious baked honey garlic boneless chicken thighs, combining sweet and savory flavors with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 6 small boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, divided
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, add the remaining butter, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Whisk in honey, soy sauce, thyme, and ginger until smooth.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and then bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Serve garnished with parsley and your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sauce for a few hours. Patting the chicken dry helps seasonings stick better.
