Delicious baked honey garlic boneless chicken thighs, combining sweet and savory flavors with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 6 small boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons salted butter, divided
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium, add the remaining butter, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Whisk in honey, soy sauce, thyme, and ginger until smooth.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and then bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve garnished with parsley and your favorite sides.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sauce for a few hours. Patting the chicken dry helps seasonings stick better.
