Delicious baked chicken tenders coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs, marinated in honey garlic sauce, and served with green beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Green onions, sliced as garnish
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Green beans
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Marinate chicken tenders with a splash of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for 15 minutes.
  3. Dip chicken tenders into beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place chicken on the baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Combine honey, soy sauce, Sriracha, minced garlic, water, and cornstarch in a saucepan for the sauce. Heat and stir until thickened.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chili flakes to panko breadcrumbs or let the chicken rest after baking.
