Description
Deliciously crispy chicken wings coated in a creamy, spicy sauce that transforms ordinary wings into a crowd-pleasing sensation.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh chicken wings
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Blend well to create a smooth mixture.
- Add the wings to the bowl and toss until they’re evenly coated with the sauce.
- Allow the wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to a couple of hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or your fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- If baking, place the wings in a single layer on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway for even cooking. If using a fryer, cook according to the fryer settings until they reach golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the wings and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider dredging the wings in cornstarch before marinating. Pair with crunchy vegetables and creamy dips for an improved presentation.
