Description
A mouthwatering twist on a classic BLT featuring BBQ bacon, zesty ranch dressing, and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- 6 slices thick-cut bacon
- 2 sandwich buns, split and toasted
- 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices fresh tomato
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon slices and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until nearly crisp.
- Brush both sides of each bacon slice with BBQ sauce. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes, flipping once, until glossy and caramelized.
- Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
- Toast the sandwich buns in the same or another skillet until golden and lightly crisped. Alternatively, place them under a broiler, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on the lower half of each toasted bun. Broil for 1–2 minutes until melted and bubbling.
- Arrange the cheese (if using), 3 strips of BBQ bacon, 2 tomato slices, a generous portion of shredded lettuce, and drizzle with ranch dressing on the bottom half of each bun.
- Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.
Notes
For added flavor, serve with extra ranch or BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
