Description

A mouthwatering twist on a classic BLT featuring BBQ bacon, zesty ranch dressing, and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 2 sandwich buns, split and toasted
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices fresh tomato
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon slices and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until nearly crisp.
  2. Brush both sides of each bacon slice with BBQ sauce. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes, flipping once, until glossy and caramelized.
  3. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  4. Toast the sandwich buns in the same or another skillet until golden and lightly crisped. Alternatively, place them under a broiler, watching closely to prevent burning.
  5. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on the lower half of each toasted bun. Broil for 1–2 minutes until melted and bubbling.
  6. Arrange the cheese (if using), 3 strips of BBQ bacon, 2 tomato slices, a generous portion of shredded lettuce, and drizzle with ranch dressing on the bottom half of each bun.
  7. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with extra ranch or BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
