An easy and flavorful marinade that transforms chicken breast into a juicy and delectable main dish.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts
Instructions
- In a large Zip-lock bag, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Squeeze the bag to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
- Add chicken pieces into the bag and massage the marinade onto the chicken.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably for 4 hours.
- Remove the bag from the refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for half an hour.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Take chicken out of the bag and shake off excess marinade.
- Grill chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 155°F.
- Cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes until temperature rises to 165°F.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like rosemary or thyme to the marinade. Marinate for longer for intensified flavors.
