Description

An easy and flavorful marinade that transforms chicken breast into a juicy and delectable main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. In a large Zip-lock bag, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Squeeze the bag to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Add chicken pieces into the bag and massage the marinade onto the chicken.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably for 4 hours.
  5. Remove the bag from the refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for half an hour.
  6. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Take chicken out of the bag and shake off excess marinade.
  8. Grill chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 155°F.
  9. Cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes until temperature rises to 165°F.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like rosemary or thyme to the marinade. Marinate for longer for intensified flavors.
