Ingredients
- 2 cups (480 ml) cooked beef
- 3 cups (720 ml) spaghetti, uncooked and broken into 5 cm pieces
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 3 cups (360 g) grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) finely diced green pepper
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) finely diced onion
- 1 (4-oz.) jar diced pimentos, drained
- 2 cups (480 ml) reserved beef broth from pot
- 1 tsp (5 ml). Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
- 1/8 tsp (1 ml). to 1/4 tsp (1 ml). cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the beef by cooking it and pulling apart the meat to obtain two cups.
- In the same pot, cook the broken spaghetti pieces in the beef broth until they are just tender, being careful not to overcook.
- Once the spaghetti is ready, mix it with all the other ingredients, reserving one cup of sharp cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the combined mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining sharp cheddar on top.
- You can choose to cover and freeze it for up to six months, refrigerate for up to two days, or bake it right away at 350°F for 45 minutes until it’s bubbling.
- If the cheese starts to brown too much, use foil to cover the top.
