Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare your chicken breasts by lightly pounding them to an even thickness.
  2. Set up your breading station with the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Mix the flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in one bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat them thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
