Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon Honey


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Whisk until well combined. If using honey, add it at this stage for an extra layer of sweetness.
  3. Place the chicken in your chosen marinating container.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it coats every piece.
  5. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight for best results.
  6. When ready, remove chicken from the fridge and discard leftover marinade.
