Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- Optional: 1 tablespoon Honey
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until well combined. If using honey, add it at this stage for an extra layer of sweetness.
- Place the chicken in your chosen marinating container.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it coats every piece.
- Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight for best results.
- When ready, remove chicken from the fridge and discard leftover marinade.
Notes
For best results, marinate overnight and let the chicken rest after grilling for 5-10 minutes.
