Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ¼-½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
- Brush the chicken breasts with avocado oil on both sides.
- Generously coat each chicken breast with the spice mixture.
- Heat your cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and sear for about 3 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Notes
