Description

Delicious garlic steak bites combined with creamy potatoes, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Cooking oil of choice
  • 1 1/2 pounds redskin or gold potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Kosher salt
  • Pepper
  • Seasoning blend of choice (e.g., Kinder’s Garlic and Herb)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds steak of choice (e.g., sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat your griddle to medium heat.
  2. Add cooking oil and potatoes, seasoning with salt, pepper, and seasoning blend.
  3. Add water and cover with a melting dome, cooking for 8-9 minutes while mixing periodically.
  4. Once potatoes are nearly tender, add more oil and the cut steak pieces along with garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
  5. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, mixing with hibachi spatulas.
  6. In the last minute, add butter and mix well as it melts.

Notes

For best results, parboil potatoes if short on time. Use high-quality seasoning blends for added flavor.
