Delicious garlic steak bites combined with creamy potatoes, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- Cooking oil of choice
- 1 1/2 pounds redskin or gold potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Kosher salt
- Pepper
- Seasoning blend of choice (e.g., Kinder’s Garlic and Herb)
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds steak of choice (e.g., sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your griddle to medium heat.
- Add cooking oil and potatoes, seasoning with salt, pepper, and seasoning blend.
- Add water and cover with a melting dome, cooking for 8-9 minutes while mixing periodically.
- Once potatoes are nearly tender, add more oil and the cut steak pieces along with garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
- Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, mixing with hibachi spatulas.
- In the last minute, add butter and mix well as it melts.
Notes
For best results, parboil potatoes if short on time. Use high-quality seasoning blends for added flavor.
