A comforting casserole featuring tender chicken, vibrant broccoli, and a creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked pasta
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil or butter for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil or butter until tender.
- Mix the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, broccoli, sautéed mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a creamier casserole, consider adding more milk or cream. Garnish with fresh parsley for a lovely presentation.
