Description

Deliciously spiced chicken wings featuring a perfect blend of sweetness and heat from brown sugar and Cajun spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the dry rub.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grates or spray with cooking spray.
  5. Place the wings on the grill and cook for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy as a game day snack or a delicious weeknight dinner!

Notes

Marinate the wings for at least 30 minutes for better flavor absorption. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F.
