Description

A delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors with marinated chicken breasts infused with brown sugar and pineapple juice.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  4. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Grill or bake the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and it’s caramelized.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your tropical delight!

Notes

For added flavor, consider making extra marinade for basting while cooking. Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes post-cooking to redistribute juices.
