Ingredients
- – 1 pound (454 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts
- – 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- – 1/2 cup (120 ml) hot sauce
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) garlic powder
- – pinch of salt
- – 4 large flour tortillas
- – 1/2 cup (120 ml) Ranch dressing
- – 2 cups (60 g) Romaine lettuce, chopped
- – 1/2 cup (50 g) carrot, shredded
- – 1/2 avocado, sliced
- – 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into long, thin pieces.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, hot sauce, paprika, garlic powder, and salt, then mix well. Submerge the chicken strips in this mixture and let them soak for a minimum of 10 minutes, or up to a full day.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken strips. Cook them until they’re no longer pink, approximately 4-5 minutes.
- While the chicken is cooking, lay the tortillas flat and apply a thin layer of Ranch dressing. Add layers of chopped lettuce, shredded carrots, sliced avocado, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place a few cooked chicken strips in the middle of each tortilla. Roll them up tightly, like you would a burrito. Serve with hot sauce or additional dressing on the side, if you like! Enjoy!
