Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.
- Add the chicken pieces, cooking until they are no longer pink.
- Pour in the tomato puree and stir in the garam masala, cumin, and coriander. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat and add the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for another 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
