Description

A creamy and cheesy chicken casserole topped with a crunchy cracker mixture, perfect for family meals.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed butter crackers
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Mix the crushed crackers with melted butter and cheddar cheese in a separate bowl.
  5. Spread the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use leftover chicken for convenience. Choose a thick cream of chicken soup to avoid a watery casserole.
