Description

A creamy and flavorful Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that’s quick and easy to prepare, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and stir to combine.
  7. Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the skillet when cooking chicken for even cooking. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best results.
