  • 2 (425 g) cans red beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (312 g) can white corn, drained
  • 2 (113 g) cans chopped green chilies, undrained
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) dried minced onion flakes
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) garlic powder
  • 10 g cumin
  • 5 g chili powder
  • 22 g cajun seasoning
  • 475 g shredded cheese


Instructions

  1. In a Dutch oven, heat vegetable oil and mix in all-purpose flour. Let it cook for 2 minutes. Slowly incorporate the chicken broth and milk while whisking. Allow it to reach a boil and continue cooking for 2 minutes until it becomes thicker.
