Ingredients

- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Place the seasoned chicken in a single layer in the baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the uncooked rice over the seasoned chicken.
- In a bowl, mix the chicken broth, cheddar cheese, and sour cream until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the rice and chicken, ensuring everything is coated evenly.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
