A comforting weeknight dinner filled with shredded chicken, creamy cheeses, and aromatic garlic, all wrapped in warm tortillas.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- Optional: diced jalapeños or hot sauce for an extra kick
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until the mixture becomes creamy.
- Lay out the flour tortillas and spread an even amount of the filling onto the center of each one.
- Top with fresh spinach leaves, diced tomatoes, and sliced green onions. If you crave heat, add jalapeños at this stage.
- Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll them tightly from the bottom to the top.
- For added crispiness, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Slice each wrap in half, and serve warm.
Notes
If your filling is too thick, add a splash of milk or more mayonnaise. Warm stiff tortillas in the microwave for easier wrapping.
