Description

A comforting weeknight dinner filled with shredded chicken, creamy cheeses, and aromatic garlic, all wrapped in warm tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Optional: diced jalapeños or hot sauce for an extra kick


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until the mixture becomes creamy.
  2. Lay out the flour tortillas and spread an even amount of the filling onto the center of each one.
  3. Top with fresh spinach leaves, diced tomatoes, and sliced green onions. If you crave heat, add jalapeños at this stage.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll them tightly from the bottom to the top.
  5. For added crispiness, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Slice each wrap in half, and serve warm.

Notes

If your filling is too thick, add a splash of milk or more mayonnaise. Warm stiff tortillas in the microwave for easier wrapping.
