Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts (680g)
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Salt
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Pepper
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Italian Seasoning
  • 8 Slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Sour Cream
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) Shredded or Grated Cheddar Cheese


Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly coat a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray. Arrange the chicken breasts in the dish.
  2. Combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Lightly dust the chicken with this mixture. Layer the slices of cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.
  3. In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix together the leftover seasonings with mayonnaise, sour cream, and grated cheddar cheese. Evenly spread this mixture over the cheddar cheese.
  4. Place in the oven and cook for 45 minutes to an hour, or until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
