Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts (680g)
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Salt
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Pepper
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Italian Seasoning
- 8 Slices Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Sour Cream
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) Shredded or Grated Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- Set your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly coat a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray. Arrange the chicken breasts in the dish.
- Combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Lightly dust the chicken with this mixture. Layer the slices of cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix together the leftover seasonings with mayonnaise, sour cream, and grated cheddar cheese. Evenly spread this mixture over the cheddar cheese.
- Place in the oven and cook for 45 minutes to an hour, or until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
