A comforting and cheesy pasta dish topped with garlic Parmesan chicken, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 340g rotini pasta
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Set aside to rest, then slice.
- Cook rotini pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic in a bit of olive oil for 1–2 minutes. Add heavy cream and simmer gently.
- Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss cooked pasta in the cheese sauce until fully coated.
- Top with sliced chicken and garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy the creamy, cheesy pasta goodness.
Notes
Experiment with different types of pasta or vegetables for added nutrition. Consider red pepper flakes for a spicier kick.
