- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (100g)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened (60g)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1g)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric (1g)
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (1g)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (14g)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the milk and heavy cream to the saucepan, stirring to combine.
- Stir in the cream cheese until completely melted and smooth.
- Gradually add the shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, and American cheeses, stirring continuously.
- Continue stirring until all the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the salt, ground mustard, and paprika, stirring to combine.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, mixing well to coat the pasta.
- Pour the macaroni and cheese mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
