Description

A comforting and creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake, perfect for family dinners or cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. Shred your cooked chicken if it isn’t done already.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley for an added pop of color.

Notes

For added flavor, consider browning the shredded chicken before mixing with the pasta. You can also add vegetables like spinach or broccoli for extra nutrition.
