Description

Learn how to make a delicious Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo with our easy-to-follow recipe. Creamy, flavorful, and perfect for a cozy meal at home!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (227 g) fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 2 cups (300 g) fresh broccoli florets
  • 25 cup (60 ml) Italian Dressing
  • 1 pound (454 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 2/3 cups (400 ml) milk
  • 4 ounces (113 g) cream cheese, cubed
  • 25 cup (60 g) grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 5 teaspoon (3 ml) dried basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pasta according to the package directions, incorporating the broccoli into the boiling water during the final 2 minutes of cooking. Drain the pasta and broccoli together.
  2. In the meantime, warm the Italian dressing in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, roughly 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Pour in the milk, then add the cubes of cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and basil to the pan. Stir constantly and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, ensuring the sauce is smooth and thoroughly warmed.
  4. Combine the chicken and sauce with the pasta and broccoli, tossing gently to mix everything together.
