Description

A comforting and satisfying chicken and rice casserole that brings families together around the dinner table.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and mixed vegetables, then add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and cover with foil.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil and add cheese on top if desired, then bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
