Description
A delicious and colorful sheet pan dinner featuring chicken apple sausage, baby potatoes, and roasted vegetables, perfect for weeknight meals or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken apple sausages
- 24 oz baby potato medley
- 1 cup baby carrots
- 2 small or 1 large broccoli crown
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Chop the baby potatoes and broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Slice the chicken sausage into rounds.
- Toss the chopped potatoes and carrots with 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, the paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Spread the potato and carrot mixture on a large sheet pan.
- Roast for 20 minutes, mixing halfway through to ensure even browning.
- Mix the chopped broccoli with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Remove the sheet pan from the oven and move the potatoes and carrots to one side to make space for the broccoli. Spread the broccoli on the other side.
- Roast for an additional 10 minutes.
- Add the sliced chicken sausage to the pan and roast for 20 minutes, mixing halfway through.
- Drizzle the maple syrup over the broccoli, potatoes, and carrots, and adjust seasoning.
- Mix everything together and roast for the last 10 minutes until beautifully caramelized.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For crispier edges, place the pan on the top oven rack for part of the cooking process. Experiment with different vegetables for variety.
