Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1/2 cup cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the mashed avocado, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Spread the chicken-avocado mixture on one slice of bread.
- Top with cheese and cover with the second slice of bread.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich.
- Grill in the skillet until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Slice the sandwich and serve warm.
