A creamy and crunchy casserole featuring chicken, bacon, and tater tots, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (1 ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, condensed cream of chicken soup, milk, and ranch seasoning mix. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the casserole stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, combine panko breadcrumbs with the cheddar cheese before sprinkling on top. You can also add veggies like diced bell peppers or frozen corn for added nutrition.
