A hearty Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Bake that’s satisfying, delicious, and easy to prepare, making it perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, broccoli, shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, half of the cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra texture, consider adding breadcrumbs on top before baking. This crunchy topping gives a pleasant contrast to the creamy base.
