Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining chicken, chow mein noodles, and colorful mixed vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add minced garlic and mixed vegetables to the pan, stir-frying for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and oyster sauce; pour over chicken and vegetables.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the pan, toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

Prep all ingredients beforehand for a smoother cooking process. Avoid overcrowding the pan when cooking chicken for better searing.
