A delightful and flavorful Middle Eastern dish featuring juicy chicken kofta paired with a creamy garlic yogurt sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for the sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into oval-shaped kofta.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the kofta for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt for the creamy garlic yogurt sauce.
  5. Serve kofta hot, drizzled with the creamy garlic yogurt sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For better flavor, let the chicken mixture marinate for about 30 minutes before cooking.
