Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (for the sauce)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into oval-shaped kofta.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the kofta for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt for the creamy garlic yogurt sauce.
- Serve kofta hot, drizzled with the creamy garlic yogurt sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For better flavor, let the chicken mixture marinate for about 30 minutes before cooking.
