- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (about 16 ounces (454 g) or 450 grams)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour to the melted butter, whisking continuously for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
- Gradually pour in 2 cups of chicken broth, whisking to combine until smooth.
- Slowly add 1 cup of milk to the skillet, continuing to whisk until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder.
- Add 2 teaspoons of dried thyme to the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Mix in 2 cups of shredded cooked chicken and 2 cups of mixed vegetables.
