Ingredients
- 2 cups (480 ml) cooked chicken, shredded (about 280 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) frozen mixed vegetables (about 150 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth (240 milliliters)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounces (298 g) or 300 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk (240 milliliters)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper (about 1 gram)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt (about 3 grams)
- 2 cups (480 ml) biscuit mix (about 260 grams)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil, melted (115 grams)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken and frozen mixed vegetables.
- Add the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, milk, black pepper, and salt to the bowl.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the biscuit mix with the melted butter.
- Stir the biscuit mixture until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
- Spread the biscuit mixture evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
