Description

A flavorful and colorful Chicken Shawarma Bowl packed with marinated chicken, fresh veggies, and creamy tahini sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, marinated in shawarma spices
  • 1 cup cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup tahini sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breast in shawarma spices for at least one hour or overnight for maximum flavor.
  2. Grill or sauté the marinated chicken until fully cooked. Slice the chicken into strips after letting it rest for a few minutes.
  3. In a bowl, layer the cooked rice or quinoa as the base.
  4. Add a generous amount of chopped lettuce on top.
  5. Sprinkle diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion evenly over the lettuce.
  6. Add the sliced chicken atop the salad.
