Description
A grilled chicken teriyaki burger featuring juicy patties topped with zesty slaw and drizzled with teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
- Cook the patties on a grill or skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- While cooking, prepare the slaw by mixing cabbage, mayonnaise, rice vinegar, and sugar in a separate bowl.
- Toast the burger buns if desired.
- Once the patties are done, place them on the toasted buns, drizzle with teriyaki sauce, and top with the slaw.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your chicken teriyaki burgers!
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture or slaw.
