Description

This flavorful chicken teriyaki dish combines the sweetness of teriyaki sauce with perfectly cooked chicken for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup potato starch (or flour)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and coat with potato starch.
  3. Add coated chicken pieces to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, turning frequently.
  4. Pour teriyaki sauce over cooked chicken and stir to coat. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve on a platter, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Experiment with adding garlic or ginger for extra flavor.
