Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, combine the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the fried chicken back into the pan, coating it in the sauce.
- Serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce for an hour before cooking. You can also make the dish gluten-free by using a gluten-free flour blend.
