Description

A flavorful sandwich combining crispy bacon, juicy chicken, and creamy ranch dressing, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs
  • 4–6 slices bacon
  • â…“ to ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 4 slices sturdy bread or 2 rolls
  • Romaine lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Thin slices red onion (optional)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 5–7 minutes. Drain the bacon and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts or thighs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the seasoned chicken over medium heat until the internal temperature reaches 165 °F, approximately 5–6 minutes on each side.
  4. Let the chicken rest for a minute, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  5. If desired, lightly toast or butter the bread.
  6. Spread ranch dressing on both sides of each slice of bread or roll.
  7. Layer chopped chicken, crispy bacon, romaine lettuce, sliced tomato, red onion (if using), and any additional toppings.
  8. Close the sandwich, cut in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in ranch dressing before cooking and consider adding avocado or cheese.
