Description

A delicious and satisfying sandwich featuring crispy bacon, juicy chicken, fresh veggies, and rich ranch dressing, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs
  • 4–6 slices bacon
  • â…“ to ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 4 slices sturdy bread or 2 rolls
  • Romaine lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Thin slices red onion (optional)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crisp, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease from the bacon and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Use the same pan to cook the seasoned chicken, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F (about 5–6 minutes per side).
  4. Let the chicken rest before chopping it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. If desired, toast or butter the bread lightly for added flavor and texture.
  6. Spread ranch dressing on both sides of the bread or rolls.
  7. Layer chopped chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and red onion, and any other desired extras.
  8. Close the sandwich, cut it in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

Monitor the cooking temperature closely to avoid overcooking. Experiment with different breads for variety.
