Ingredients

- 4–6 slices bacon
- ⅓ to ½ cup ranch dressing
- 4 slices sturdy bread or 2 rolls
- Romaine lettuce or mixed greens
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Thin slices red onion (optional)
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Cook bacon until crisp, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease from the bacon and set aside.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Use the same pan to cook the seasoned chicken, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F (about 5–6 minutes per side).
- Let the chicken rest before chopping it into bite-sized pieces.
- If desired, toast or butter the bread lightly for added flavor and texture.
- Spread ranch dressing on both sides of the bread or rolls.
- Layer chopped chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and red onion, and any other desired extras.
- Close the sandwich, cut it in half, and serve immediately.
