Description

A comforting dish featuring crispy breaded chicken topped with savory marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip them in the beaten eggs, and coat them with the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
