Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the chicken breasts over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the orzo, chicken broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook until the orzo is al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Mix in the Parmesan cheese and return the chicken to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley.
