A quick and creamy chicken and pasta dish that elevates weeknight dinners into flavorful adventures.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces Chicken Breast (Boneless and skinless)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (Or fresh garlic for bolder flavor)
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano (Fresh preferred)
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil (Fresh preferred)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (Or preferred cooking oil)
- 12 oz Penne Pasta (Any pasta shape can be used)
- 2 tablespoons Butter (Unsalted preferred)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (Or half-and-half for a lighter option)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Freshly grated preferred)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (For garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and basil. Add chicken to the pan and cook until lightly browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- While the chicken cooks, add penne pasta to boiling salted water. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat, add butter to the skillet and let it melt. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently, and allow it to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Toss the drained penne pasta into the skillet, mixing until thoroughly coated in the creamy sauce, then add freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
- Finish with fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Crac Chicken Penne!
Notes
For a richer flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking. Optionally, add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
